Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Command Injection via the dsync process. An attacker can alter mailbox state and internal attributes by crafting mail content that is interpreted as commands when processed with the stream protocol. This can result in unauthorized data manipulation and potential service disruption.
Workaround
This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding the use of the dsync utility with the stream protocol when processing mailboxes containing untrusted user-provided content.
