The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Start learningUpgrade dovecot to version 2.4.5 or higher.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling via the imap-login process when an attacker sends an IMAP ID command with an excessive number of parameters before authentication. An attacker can cause excessive memory and CPU consumption by sending a large number of parameters, which may lead to the termination of the imap-login process and disrupt all other active connections handled by the same process, resulting in service degradation or interruption.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by limiting the number of connections handled by a single imap-login process using the process_limit setting in the Dovecot configuration.
