CVE-2024-2212  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-122  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade eclipse-threadx/threadx to version 6.4.0 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow due to missing parameter checks in the xQueueCreate and xQueueCreateSet functions from the FreeRTOS compatibility API (utility/rtos_compatibility_layers/FreeRTOS/tx_freertos.c). An attacker can execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service by exploiting the integer wraparound, under-allocations, and heap buffer overflows.
