Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read through the Connection Manager process when handling ForwardOpen requests containing short malformed packets. An attacker can cause the parser to read beyond the intended buffer by sending a valid ENIP outer frame with a malformed CIP ForwardOpen or LargeForwardOpen request, potentially leading to information disclosure or application instability via specially crafted network traffic.
