Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Information Exposure in the encrypt and decrypt functions of the OAuth2 HTTP filter, which use AES-256-CBC without an authentication tag. An attacker can recover sensitive plaintext data by exploiting the padding oracle created by differing HTTP responses to decryption success and failure, then use this information to obtain unauthorized access tokens.
