Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Uncaught Exception when processing proxy protocol with an unsupported address type by the OS. Specifically, the application crashes on a host with IPv6 disabled and a listener configuration with proxy protocol enabled upon receiving a request where the client presents its IPv6 address. This scenario is plausible even when the entire communication chain is connected via IPv4.
