Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions through the handling of HTTP responses during protocol upgrade requests. An attacker can manipulate the server response to include an upgrade header with a 200 status code, which is incorrectly accepted by Envoy as a valid protocol switch, leading to potential request smuggling.
