Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Stack-based Buffer Overflow via improper validation of the name_len field in the NBNS packet handling process. An attacker can cause memory corruption and potentially execute arbitrary code or disrupt device operation by sending specially crafted NBNS requests to UDP port 137 when NetBIOS is enabled.
