Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read in the esp_secure_services.c and esp_secure_services_iram.c wrappers, which insufficiently validate caller-supplied pointer arguments. An attacker can access sensitive data from TEE-exclusive memory by supplying crafted pointers, causing hardware peripherals to read and return confidential information to the non-secure environment.
