Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Stack-based Buffer Overflow via the setup_payload function. An attacker can execute arbitrary code or cause a crash by sending a specially crafted SLAC payload with an oversized length field, which is copied into a fixed-size stack buffer without proper validation.
