CWE-89  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade exim/exim to version 4.98.1 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to SQL Injection via the combination of SQLite hints and ETRN serialization. An attacker can manipulate SQL queries and potentially access or alter data without proper authorization by injecting SQL code into the input parameters.

Note:

This is only exploitable if both SQLite hints and ETRN serialization are enabled.
