Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Buffer Overflow via the xdr_datum() function when deserializing a slice packet. An attacker can cause a buffer overflow by sending a crafted packet with a cstring longer than the allocated buffer, potentially leading to a crash or other security impact.
