Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to User Interface (UI) Misrepresentation of Critical Information due to a warning not being displayed when a user attempted to navigate to a new protocol handler. An attacker can trick a user into navigating to a URL that may lead to phishing or other social engineering attacks by convincing them to accept a maliciously crafted protocol handler without adequate warning.
