CWE-208  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Firefox-ESR to version 115.9 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Timing Attack. An attacker can leak information about whether high order bits of the RSA decryption result are zero by exploiting the timing of the decryption process. This information can be used to mount a Bleichenbacher Manger or Marvin like attack against all RSA decryption operations. As the leak occurs before any padding operations, it affects all padding modes: PKCS#1 v1.5, OAEP, and RSASVP. Both API level calls and TLS server operation are affected.
