How to fix?

Upgrade freebsd to version 13.5.0-p10, 14.3.0-p9, 15.0.0-p4 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Write due to improper validation of the length field in the rtsock_msg_buffer() function. An attacker can cause a stack buffer overflow by crafting a malicious routing socket request, which may result in a kernel panic or potentially allow privilege escalation if additional kernel bugs are present that expose the stack canary value.
