Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to NULL Pointer Dereference in the tcp-setmss handler. An attacker can cause a system crash by sending maliciously crafted packets from a remote host when the tcp-setmss directive is used and a subsequent rule allows the traffic to pass after the packet data has been freed. This is only exploitable if the tcp-setmss directive is present and a subsequent rule permits the affected traffic.
