Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Permissive Cross-domain Policy with Untrusted Domains in the rtsol(8) and rtsold(8) programs that lacks validation for domain search list options from router advertisement messages. An attacker can execute arbitrary shell commands by crafting malicious router advertisement messages containing specially constructed domain search list options.
