Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Uncontrolled Recursion in the pf process when parsing SCTP chunk parameters. An attacker can cause a stack overflow and system panic by sending specially crafted SCTP packets. This is only exploitable if the system is configured to process traffic with pf, regardless of the configured ruleset.
