Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Privilege Assignment in the sigqueue process. An attacker can interfere with other processes by sending unauthorized signals, such as SIGKILL or SIGSTOP, to processes running as the same user or, in the case of a superuser sandboxed process, to any process, by bypassing intended sandbox restrictions.
