Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Verification of Cryptographic Signature in the wg(4) packet decryption process. An attacker can inject forged or modified transport data packets into the tunnel or modify ciphertext and authenticated data without detection by sending specially crafted UDP packets to a WireGuard endpoint and guessing the bounds of the receiver's replay window. This is only exploitable if the attacker can send UDP packets to the WireGuard endpoint and accurately guess the replay window bounds.
