Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Omission of Security-relevant Information due to the kernel passing the return value of an internal setup function to the audit process instead of the actual result of the executed system call. An attacker with the ability to debug a process can produce misleading audit trails by executing system calls via ptrace, potentially undermining audit-based intrusion detection systems.
