How to fix?

Upgrade freebsd to version 14.3.0-p16, 14.4.0-p7, 15.0.0-p11, 15.1.0-p1 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow via the ZFS_IOC_USERSPACE_MANY ioctl. An attacker can cause a kernel heap overflow by providing a crafted 64-bit buffer size that is truncated to 32 bits for kernel allocation but used as a 64-bit value when writing records, potentially leading to privilege escalation. This is only exploitable if the attacker has the "userused" delegated ZFS permission.
