Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Write in the ipa-otpd process during the handling of OAuth2 device authorization responses. An attacker can cause instability or crash the service by supplying an oversized device authorization response from a controlled or man-in-the-middle external Identity Provider endpoint while a domain user initiates the OAuth2 login flow. This is only exploitable if the system is configured with an external Identity Provider and the attacker can control or intercept the IdP endpoint.
