Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Stack-based Buffer Overflow in the ipmi-oem client command when handling response messages from a compromised or malicious Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) server. An attacker can achieve arbitrary code execution or cause a denial of service by sending specially crafted response messages to the affected commands.
