Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Write via the gdi_SurfaceCommand_ClearCodec() handler. An attacker can achieve remote code execution by sending a specially crafted RDPGFX ClearCodec surface command with an out-of-bounds destination rectangle, which leads to a heap buffer overflow and corruption of adjacent memory structures, ultimately allowing control over an indirect function pointer call.
