Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Integer Overflow or Wraparound in the update_read_cache_bitmap_order function of the core library, where a uint32 field is populated from a uint16 data element and subsequently modified without proper validation. An attacker can cause a program crash by sending specially crafted data that triggers the integer underflow.
