Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Write in the RemoteFX decoding process when the /cache:codec:rfx option is enabled. An attacker can execute arbitrary code on the client system by manipulating desktop stride and height values during the decoding of Cache Bitmap V3 data from a malicious Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) server. This is only exploitable if the client is configured with the non-default /cache:codec:rfx option.
