How to fix?

Upgrade freerdp/freerdp to version 3.29.0 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Certificate Validation in the x509_utils_verify process. An attacker can impersonate a legitimate server by presenting a certificate that is only valid for client authentication, which is accepted due to improper validation of the Extended Key Usage (EKU) field during TLS authentication. This is only exploitable if the environment relies on EKU separation between client and server certificates.
