Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow in the rpc_channel_read process when handling TS Gateway responses. An attacker can cause a heap buffer overflow by sending a crafted bind_ack message with an excessively large max_xmit_frag value, leading to client crashes or potentially enabling arbitrary code execution through heap corruption.
