Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to NULL Pointer Dereference in the smartcard cache request decoder process. An attacker can cause the client process to terminate unexpectedly by sending specially crafted smartcard cache requests containing NULL pointers for the lookup-name parameter, which triggers a null pointer dereference when the system attempts to perform a string length operation.
