CWE-369  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade freerdp/freerdp to version 3.28.0 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Division by zero via the rdpsnd_server_select_format function in channels/rdpsnd/server/rdpsnd_main.c when an authenticated RDP client advertises DVI ADPCM with specific parameters, causing the bs calculation to result in zero. An attacker can cause the server-side rdpsnd channel process to terminate by triggering a division by zero error.
