How to fix?

Upgrade freerdp/freerdp to version 2.11.6, 3.5.0 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-Bounds Read due to improper handling in the planar_skip_plane_rle function. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted packets to be processed by the vulnerable function.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by using /gfx or /rfx modes, which are on by default and require server-side support.
