Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Uncontrolled Resource Consumption ('Resource Exhaustion') due to improper handling of malformed OSPF LSA packets in the ospf_te_parse_te function. An attacker can cause a crash of the ospfd daemon, leading to a denial of service condition by sending a specially crafted packet that attempts to access a missing attribute field.
