Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Buffer Overflow via improper bounds checking in the wincred
credential helper. An attacker can cause a buffer overflow by supplying crafted input that exceeds the static buffer's capacity when appended using the wcsncat
function.
For users that are unable to upgrade to the fixed version it is recommended to avoid using the wincred helper in the meantime if upgrading is not possible.
