Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Code Injection when loading modules, which may be located in the current working directory. An attacker can execute arbitrary code by placing a malicious library in a shared directory and convincing a user to load from there.

Note: Applications running in a snap sandbox are not vulnerable, nor are applications using apparmor rules to prevent the loading of libraries.
