Overview

GNOME/localsearch is a file search framework of the GNOME desktop

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Buffer Access with Incorrect Length Value in the extract_performers_tags() function in tracker-extract-mp3.c, when parsing MP3 files containing malformed ID3 tags. An attacker can access heap memory, causing a crash by tricking a user into processing a malicious MP3 file.
