Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to NULL Pointer Dereference in the gf_media_map_esd function when parsing certain truncated MP4 files containing unknown or invalid stsd entries, which can result in missing descriptor fields. An attacker can cause a crash and denial of service by providing a specially crafted MP4 file that triggers a NULL pointer dereference.
