Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow in the fs/ntfs.c
function, an attacker can execute unsigned code and bypass secure boot protection by presenting a specially crafted NTFS filesystem image. This leads to heap metadata corruption in both grub and potentially the UEFI firmware. This is only exploitable if the attacker has access to present an NTFS filesystem image.
