Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Write due to improper validation of input length when reading a symbolic link's name from a UFS filesystem. An attacker can cause data integrity issues and potentially circumvent secure boot protections by exploiting the heap out-of-bounds write condition.
