Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Write via the JPEG parser. An attacker can overwrite sensitive information and potentially bypass secure boot protections by using a specially crafted JPEG file.
Workaround
This vulnerability can be mitigated by not processing untrusted JPEG files with grub2.
