Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Write due to an integer overflow when handling symlinks, which may lead to a heap-based out-of-bounds write when reading data. An attacker can modify or corrupt memory by sending crafted symlink data.
Note:
This is only exploitable if the reiserfs filesystem module is included and used.
