Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read via the pcapparse process. An attacker can cause a crash or access sensitive information by supplying a specially crafted PCAP file containing malformed IPv4/TCP header fields that trigger reads beyond buffer boundaries. This is only exploitable if the pcapparse element is used within custom debugging pipelines.
