The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Insecure Temporary File in the gzexe process when the mktemp utility is not available in the user's PATH. An attacker can overwrite arbitrary files by pre-creating a symbolic link at the predictable temporary file path, which is based solely on the process ID. This leads to a time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) condition, allowing the attacker to control the file that is overwritten.
