Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Write in the tga.c process of decoding TGA images using RLE compression, specifically when handling the raw-packet path, due to missing bounds checks. An attacker can achieve arbitrary code execution or cause a denial of service by supplying a specially crafted TGA file that writes attacker-controlled data past the end of a heap buffer.
