Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow in the module_hash_decode process in multiple Kerberos-related modules due to calculation of account_info_len from untrusted delimiter positions without upper-bound validation before memcpy copies data into a fixed-size account_info buffer. An attacker can cause a denial of service or potentially execute arbitrary code by supplying a specially crafted Kerberos hash file.
