Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Access of Resource Using Incompatible Type ('Type Confusion') via the INFO, JSON, and YAML encoders when an internal method receives a pointer of an unexpected type during image writing in a compressed format. An attacker can cause the process to crash by supplying a specially crafted image that triggers a SIGABRT or SIGSEGV.
