CVE-2023-34152  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-20  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

There is no fixed version for ImageMagick/ImageMagick.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Remote Code Execution (RCE) in OpenBlob when --enable-pipes is set. A filename including shell characters can allow command injection.

NOTE: The maintainers of this project state that when pipes are enabled other measures must be taken to ensure security because command execution is allowed. This behavior is documented, and a fix is not expected that removes this capability from --enable-pipes.
