Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to NULL Pointer Dereference while searching for an appropriate subnet for the DHCPv4 client. An attacker can cause the application to crash by sending specially crafted client options that trigger a null pointer dereference during subnet selection.
Note:
This happens only if the client request is unicast directly to Kea; broadcast messages do not cause the problem.
