Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') due to the omission of shell_quote calls for LESSCLOSE in close_altfile within filename.c. An attacker can execute arbitrary code by crafting a malicious input that exploits the lack of proper shell quoting.
