The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read in the ctrl_set_layer_id function due to a missing bounds check when handling the SVC encoder feature. An attacker can cause sensitive information disclosure from adjacent heap allocations or trigger a denial of service by supplying a spatial_layer_id value that exceeds the number of configured spatial layers. This is only exploitable if the SVC encoder feature is enabled and untrusted input can control SVC layer parameters.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by validating that spatial_layer_id does not exceed the number of configured spatial layers before calling aom_codec_control with AV1E_SET_SVC_LAYER_ID, and by restricting access to encoding services to trusted clients only.
